Estate Sale Find-Antique Pier Mirror

Hello everyone! Back in May I started working for a Garage Sale and Estate Sale Company, which I love might I add, and I have been finding some great treasures here and there. So I wanted to show you my latest antique furniture find. When I saw this beauty (the pier mirror) I knew I had to have it because it matches my antique chairs. It probably dates to the 1870's or so.

Here is a closer look at the detail of the finial and the ebonizing which I always seem to be attracted to.
If you want to see more ebonized beauties just click here.

And below is the cute little marble top shelf in which I placed this sweet little married cherub piece. It used to have a small clock on top but was removed at some point, so I added the little cranberry glass piece to it for what I call, the perfect little married piece. I think she likes it there on that shelf. :-)

And below that is another shelf! I like shelves because that means more space to put more things! Yay!
I added my antique German porcelain shoe to that shelf. Haven't decided what will go on the shelves on either side of it though.

I really like my new piece there between the front two windows BUT I had my antique pier table there so guess what? Yep, I had to move it elsewhere.

And that meant getting rid of something or moving that other IT somewhere else. If you remember, I originally had the 1909 upright piano there...

but I sold it and the two gold chairs. And then I bought the dollhouse and antique desk that it sat on...

and just last week I sold it too! I know I sell a lot of things. Oh well! The house was just way too big so I decided to sell it to a friend of mine who is "really" into miniature dollhouses. So then I had the space to move the pier table to. Even though I was saving that space for the perfect etegere! Oh my goodness, does the madness never end?!

Happy Fall and thanks so much for your visit!
